Abstract.

The article examines the importance of regional investments in the context of ensuring economic security of the construction complex of the Russian Federation. The relevance of this study is due to the growing role of the construction complex in ensuring economic growth of the regions of Russia, especially in the context of modern global challenges and the need for import substitution. The theoretical aspects of economic security in the construction industry, its place in the system of national economic security, as well as factors influencing its state in the regional context are considered. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the current state of the construction complex in the regions of Russia, assessment of investment activity and problems of attracting investment. The mechanisms of state support for investment projects in construction at the regional level and the role of regional authorities in stimulating investment activity are studied. Based on the conducted study, ways to improve the efficiency of regional investments in the construction complex are proposed, including the development of innovative technologies and reducing dependence on imported materials and equipment. The presented results are of practical importance for the development of regional investment policy in the construction industry and strengthening the economic security of the construction complex of Russia.
