Abstract.
The concept of "creative industries" in the Russian economy is not fundamentally new. However, from the standpoint of forming national goals for the development of the economy, areas of entrepreneurship, employment of the population for the period up to 2030, it acquired a new sound, which was reflected in the strategy for the development of the domestic economy and the directions of state support in the Russian Federation. Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 20, 2021 No. 2613-r approved the "Concept for the development of creative (creative) industries and mechanisms for the implementation of their state support in large and largest urban agglomerations until 2030", which defines the goals, tasks, priorities, principles, directions and mechanisms of state support for the development of creative industries in the Russian Federation. The concept considers comprehensively the content of creative, creative and cultural industries, based on the approved directions of the state cultural policy, the strategy of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation, the national development goals of the Russian Federation, which is the basis for research in the field of content and structure of creative industries. The practical aspect of the results of the research is contained in the formation of an integrated understanding of the sphere of creative industries as a sector of the creative economy at the national and regional levels. The hypothesis of the study is that the definition of creative industries by content and industry structure will allow assessing the indicators of the development of the creative economy in the Russian Federation as a whole and its individual territories in particular.
