Abstract.
The issues of improving the level of improvement of public territories and the comfort of the urban environment are among the most important state tasks, as evidenced by a number of national projects adopted over the past few years. The adopted national projects in the field of improvement were considered and their results were analyzed to achieve targeted measures for the study period. The main implemented activities of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" regarding the quality of the urban environment are noted. The scheme and elements of the improvement of one of the program activities of the national project on the formation of a comfortable urban environment, which has passed public selection – the territory of the square in the village of Upravlenchesky near the registry office on the street S. Lazo, city of o. Samara. A mechanism for this program event and a scheme for its financing have been developed. The effectiveness of the implementation of measures to form a program of a comfortable urban environment, which is expressed, first of all, by a social effect, that is, an increase in the quality and level of comfort of the urban environment, has been studied. The economic effect of the implementation of the program event will be expressed by the increase in the book value of the improvement object per ruble of invested budget funds.
