Abstract.
Achieving national technological sovereignty is of crucial importance for the economic and industrial development of Russia in the context of modern geopolitical challenges. In the modern world, digital technologies play a key role in ensuring national technological independence. Innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet of Things allow the country to develop its own technological solutions, reducing dependence on foreign developments. The article analyzes the role of digital technologies in ensuring the technological sovereignty of Russia, assesses the current state of the digital economy and determines priority areas for development, highlights the main barriers to technological independence, studies foreign experience, considers regulations governing the digital economy and the role of science and education in its development, lists financial instruments for supporting innovation, and, in conclusion, offers recommendations for increasing technological independence.
