Abstract.
Until recently, the company's activities were characterized only by their financial and economic indicators. However, at the moment, along with the indicators of financial statements, the indicators of non-financial (integrated) reporting, developed on the basis of international GRI rules, are also analyzed. In Russia, this kind of reporting is not as widespread as in Western countries, but its introduction can significantly attract the attention of foreign investors. This study includes an analysis of both financial and non-financial indicators of PJSC Polyus in order to reflect the full picture of the company's activities and prospects for its further development. PJSC Polyus is one of the largest gold mining companies in the world, as well as the leading gold producer in Russia. In order to maintain its position and approach the goal of becoming an organization as a benchmark for the mining industry, the management pays great attention to both improving production activities directly and issues of sustainable development. Polyus ' assets include stably functioning mining enterprises located in remote regions of Russia: in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk and Magadan regions, and Yakutia. Realizing its responsibility for ensuring the economic and social prosperity and well-being of these regions, Polyus strives to improve the quality of life in these regions by initiating various projects to develop infrastructure and create decent working conditions, providing jobs, implementing a responsible approach to the environment, as well as participating in charity and sponsorship projects. The company strives to reclaim individual sites as soon as their use ceases to be necessary within the production process.
