Abstract.
For several millennia, society has been developing such an economic phenomenon as entrepreneurship. In the 18th and 19th centuries, entrepreneurship became associated with the Industrial Revolution, which led to the creation of mass production and expanding markets. At this time, such famous entrepreneurs as John Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and Henry Ford appeared. In the 20th century, entrepreneurship became more accessible due to the development of technology and the availability of loans. Today, entrepreneurship is strongly connected to the Internet and information technology, which allows the creation of new business models and expanding markets. How does entrepreneurship work in the 21st century? This scientific work is devoted to this issue. Let us consider the task at hand using the example of one of the largest and most successful companies in Russia, PJSC Gazprom. Today, the attention of the business community is focused on entrepreneurship, which is considered as an integral part in the system of market economic relations. In modern realities, in order to be able to overcome competition and continue dynamic development by increasing profitability, companies base their work on the search for new creative opportunities and a non-standard approach to business management. Business solves important economic localized problems with employment of the population, since when creating one or another organizational and legal form of an enterprise, new jobs are created, and the initiative and development of the abilities of the population are also activated, since non-standard approaches and solutions are required to maintain the uniqueness and peculiarity of the work provided or services provided. From an economic point of view, it is important to point out that everywhere local resources are involved in the economic turnover of companies - this is why the development of the domestic economy is taking place. That is why the topic of entrepreneurship is relevant and needs detailed analysis.
