Abstract.
The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the activities of economic entities in modern turbulent conditions are faced with all sorts of negative situations. Thus, the instability of the economic and political situation, as well as the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019-2021, left a negative imprint on the business of domestic economic entities, regardless of their scale and scope of activity. The negative consequences of financial and economic activity were noted both in small business entities and in large businesses, which led to the exit from the market of the most vulnerable and financially unstable economic entities. In turn, large economic entities urgently sought ways and means of adapting to modern realities, finding solutions to existing problems and ways to reduce threats to their functioning. However, in Russia, in the context of the pandemic, most companies in order to avoid leaving the market were forced to look for additional sources of financing, and the majority preferred debt capital, which had an even more negative impact on their financial position and stability. The purpose of scientific research is due to the importance of the tasks of financial and economic activity and the possibility of leveling emerging problems with a reliable assessment of the results of business activities. The subject of the study was the problems of financial and economic activity of the modern economic. PJSC Gazprom acted as the object, on the basis of whose activities the problems and main tasks of doing business were revealed.
