Abstract.
Ecotourism as a type of cultural tourism has a certain potential for the development of the region. However, this type of tourism requires the development of infrastructure for the implementation of tourism projects, which is due to the presence in a certain region of a complex of factors, conditions and opportunities for the promotion of eco-tourism. Ecotourism attracts with its unique nature and ecosystems, which underlines the importance of developing ecotourism in a region with such characteristics. At the same time, despite the fact that the development of eco-tourism involves significant capital investments, on the other hand, investments in this type of tourism contribute to the conservation and reproduction of natural resources and sustainable development of the region through long-term partnerships. The development of ecotourism contributes to the creation of new jobs and the improvement of the life of the population in the region. The article presents an overview of the current state and prospects for the development of eco-tourism in the Novosibirsk region, which has a unique natural landscape, cultural and historical aspects, and a certain level of development of tourist infrastructure.
