Abstract.
The the article proposes an integrated approach to assessing and managing threats to economic security, which takes into account the specifics of each region and its characteristics. The object and subject of the region's economic security are determined, and the need to classify threats and take into account their dynamic nature in order to develop appropriate regional strategies is substantiated. The article examines the concept of threats to economic security at the regional level and provides various interpretations of this concept. The work analyzes various approaches to classifying threats. The authors pay special attention to the issue of classifying threats to the economic security of the region, taking into account the influence of the digital society. The authors point out gaps in existing classifications that do not take into account digital transformation, recognizing the strategic importance of digitalization for achieving national development priorities. The article presents its own classification of threats, supplemented by taking into account the digital development of the region. Based on the analysis of federal and regional strategies for digitalization of the economy, critical areas in which threats to information security and digital development arise have been identified. The developed classification of threats allows us to systematize them and facilitate the analysis process, as well as highlight the most critical threats, taking into account their likelihood and impact on the economic security of the regions.
