Abstract.

During the audit, it is important not only to determine the reliability of the formation of accounting (financial) reporting indicators and their objectivity, but also to assess the relationship and interdependence of the reporting indicators. The use of analytical techniques allows you to compile a cash flow statement based on an indirect approach that links the indicators of available cash reflected in the balance sheet and the amount of profit expected to be received based on the results of the financial and economic activities of the organization reflected in the statement of financial results. As a rule, net profit is not provided by the corresponding amount of cash available to the organization due to the fact that the accrual method is used to reflect income in the accounting system. At the same time, the indirect method of compiling a cash flow statement allows you to determine the amount of an internal source of improvement in the financial condition of the audited organization.
