Abstract.
The topic of sustainable development is becoming increasingly relevant for all countries of the world. The UN General Assembly approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, an action plan to improve the development and well-being of people and the planet. This event was an important milestone in the formation of this direction globally: 193 countries, including Russia, have made a voluntary commitment to implement 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are divided into 169 objectives on social, economic and environmental aspects. The purpose of this study is to forecast and assess the countries of the world by indicators of financial inclusion using cluster analysis to identify trends in 2025 and 2030. To do this, a quantitative analysis was conducted which, using official statistics and the Excel FORECAST.ETS software function, determined what the values of financial inclusion indicators will be for 127 countries in 2025 and 2030. In order to conduct a cluster analysis of countries by the level of financial inclusion and forecast its changes, the indicators of financial inclusion were selected, for which further cluster analysis was conducted in the program Statistica. The analysis showed that a number of countries need to take urgent action to meet their commitments to the 2030 Agenda on financial inclusion. It is assumed that the results of the study may be of interest to governments, experts and scholars who assess the dynamics of Russia's sustainable development and the prospects of its economic and social development.
